Stay Blessed!

"Take care of your body. It's the only place you have to live in."

- Jim Rohn

Whenever I hear people saying 'feeling blessed', every time they are talking about something that they have achieved or received like getting good marks and topping an exam, getting your dream job, being promoted, getting to travel abroad, buying their own home or car, getting married, becoming parents or just plain good fortune.

However, I have never heard anyone say that they are feeling blessed to have good health as if we all take our health for granted, the last on each of our lists. Let me finish everything else today, I will take care of my health tomorrow. Sadly, the tomorrow never arrives for many of us, and we continue to live a life in ill health, both physical and mental. And suddenly one fine day, our health gives up.

It's so essential to prioritise our health today, take care of the body and mind which has been with us since our inception, the part of our existence. We exist because our physical bodies exist and yet we inflict so much unnecessary pain on it.

Be kind to yourself, your body today. Give yourself a smile, a hug, a pat on the back, a few minutes of silence and rest so that your body and mind can heal and you can stay healthy and stay blessed.
